Back to School is Easy with Erin Baker's

We get it... Sometimes a homemade breakfast just isn't an option, that's why we've made wholesome easy! Just grab and go!

Let me paint a picture for you: It's first thing in the morning, the kids aren't out of bed yet (you barely woke up for that matter), the dog is whimpering to go out and your significant other is already on their way out the door for work... at least the coffee pot started automatically... too bad breakfast can't start itself as well. Does this sound familiar?

Busy woman in the morning multitasking

When I first started baking my Breakfast Cookies, I had YOU in mind and still do to this day. Of course a home cooked meal is ideal, but let's be honest with ourselves this can't always happen. That's why I made wholesome easy - just grab & go!

My Breakfast Cookies are a portable bowl of oatmeal, baked with whole grains and sweetened mainly with fruit. They allow you to get the nutrients you and your kids need to get the day started... not to mention they are super filling!

If you're more of a Homestyle Granola person, I've got you covered there as well. You can eat my granola as cereal with milk, pair it with yogurt & fruit for a parfait or just eat it straight from the bag.

A new granola idea I've been seeing pop up on Pinterest is an overnight granola (similar to the overnight oats craze)... that way you can prep everything the night before.

In a 12-ounce jar combine the following ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of your favorite Homestyle Granola
  • Assorted fruit (fresh or dried) cut into pieces
  • Slivered/ chopped nuts of your choice (almonds are a great option!)
  • 1 tsp of chia seeds
  • 2/3 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • Optional: cinnamon, vanilla or almond extract, shredded coconut, additional granola added after soak for a crunch

Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight. Gently stir from the bottom before eating to mix all the delicious ingredients together.

Will you be prepared for the back to school rush?

I would love to hear from you!
