I recently purchased this product and am seriously regretting it! The granola tasted okay. However, while eating it, I bit into something extremely hard, heard a cracking sound, and felt immediate pain. To make a long story short, whatever I bit into ended up cracking and loosening my tooth, which was not able to be saved and had to be removed. My only option would be to have a dental implant that would cost $5,000!
I contacted the company...They apologized and described the visual inspection process that takes place during their production process, and then added, "However, with an all-natural product, there is always the chance that organic matter, such as a walnut shell or raisin vine can pass through undetected" (E. Clanton, personal communication, Aug. 1, 2024). So, they offered to replace the product for me--how kind--maybe I can lose another tooth! Otherwise, I'm out of luck!
So, do yourself a favor and avoid this product/company!
