Somehow in the craziness of my life in the last 12 months I have stopped eating 6-9 fruits and veggies a day. It happened slowly... I stopped caring about what I was eating because I was more concerned with other things I thought were more important. I haven't gained any weight but I can say that I don't feel "clean 'n lean." I stopped tweeting what I was eating last November after I had unexpected and serious surgery. It took a lot to post every meal everyday for 3 years and some how I just didn't have it in me throughout my recovery. 2012 has been a very big year for me personally and for everyone at the Bakery. Our move to a larger building midyear took every one's attention from outward growth to inward growth... which in hindsight is just what we needed. Business usually wins and the attentions and resources are pointed in the direction of growth and expansion. Our move made us all look inside and grow.
I had always planned on evolving my live food posts to short simple videos... but with my focus on the expansion of our Bakery and the distribution of my products it has been challenging for me to find the time to create this evolution of Change Your Food... Change Your Life. But as always... I find hindsight can be illuminating. Making the time and finding the inspiration to create my videos couldn't have happened until I was ready... and now I am.
Today I have even more reason to dive back into Changing My Food and Changing My Life because I need the accountability, the inspiration, and the desire to take my commitment to the next level, where NO matter what happens in my life I am eating my 6-9 servings of fruits and veggies a day! I have my kitchen workshop, my videographer ErinJoy, and my "time" all carved out to start my journey into the next frontier of Changing our Food...and Changing our Lives!

My Retail Store, which is a dream come true, is such a warm and inviting place to gather, sample, and explore the wonderful possibilities of healthy baking. If you go way back with me in Bellingham you may remember I used to make Whole Grain Scones and Chocolate Chunk Cookies... well they're back! Every morning we're baking and selling them fresh off the ovens... Yum! Oh and did I mention there's plenty of sampling? Our Holiday Open House is also on Thursday, December 13th from 8:30am to 6pm, we will have a lot of items 25% off and lots of Holiday Cheer to share!
